One last thing to say here

Watch Slumdog Millionaire.

To the east, to the west.

This post, as you have already seen (or will soon realise) is uncommonly long, for the reason that today i felt like writing, the same way we take a walk outside when we feel like fresh air. Err do you do that? Anyhow, if you find that some upcoming paragraphs end earlier than one would expect them to, it is not because i have been depleted of content, it is simply a poetic finishing.

The recent chinese new year was fun, even if i didn't eat as much as usual. I didn't play with fire crackers this time as i got distracted. Aiya. Next year i will. I want to see big fireworks again, the large ball flower types, and i want to stand under them as they light the sky. A different experience. China!

The thought of working at Starbucks amuses me. I think it's a pretty cool job because the working culture there is next generation. The staff working at a Starbucks franchise are "partners", the longest of orders are taken by memory, and knowledge of the myriad of roasts is required, by every one of the staff. I know not of anywhere else which operates in a manner as such. There are still a lot of other pretty cool things about Starbucks. And all this impression is no thanks to a Rover friend of mine - the one and only one who's a coffee connoisseur. Bleah i will not work at Starbucks! Actually i don't they would take me either hahaha.

NS BMT is coming soon for me. SJI classmates who've already enlisted have told me it's fairly easy, others have told me components of the training aren't. Strangely it's the slacker ones who find it easy. I have this mischievious feeling that i'm going to like BMT *chuckles*.

This cousin of mine. He is young.
This nephew of mine. He is young.
This nephew is the son of the eldest sister of this cousin. Five years of difference between this cousin and this nephew.
To uncle or not to uncle.

I have this cousin. A different cousin. Who i think is a romantic. HAHA. Come to think of it, two of them are romantics. Double haha. Note that i actually like people who are romantics, i laugh just because it's funny to think that they are too.

One time after an already late ending for a campfire and a later night at mac's and a latest chatting outside mac's for quite awhile after it closed, i was convinced to play DotA after i got home. On hindsight, i also 0.0 when i think of it. This guy - another Rover haiz - is considerably insanely knowlegeable about the game mechanics and team dynamics of DotA. That such people exist was obvious. That they are actually people i know was surprising. DotA connoisseurs.
Gaming is a cycle. Like it, get bored, then like it again. Vicious.

Jason Mraz's ballads are nice. I did not know that Lucky and You and I Both were his songs. Until i searched them up because they were nice, realised who the artiste was, and now the songs are even nicer. I'm Yours was the first song of his i liked, but i've heard it too often already. It's the "too much of a good thing" kind of thing. But i still like it.

Dragonball is going to become a movie. Why is Goku an american?!

A trip overseas to somewhere local

I'm back! From... somewhere. Somewhere which i can't mention not because i've forgotten but because i'm not supposed to have been there. So don't scribble on the internet where i've been. Please. Thank you.

Remember remember
The 5th of November
The gunpowder treason and plot
I can see no reason
Why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot

lolcats

I can has cheeseburgerz?

Eh what is type post out already then the window suddenly close? No saved draft somemore. Boogers. Lol oh well here it goes again.

My sister's birthday was earlier this month, and my mum's came 10 days after. My entire family belongs to the last quarter of the year. My dad, mum, sis, bro, grandma and i. Three more in Nov, one in Dec.

My dad's overseas now so my sis and i had gone to TP on the day to get my mum's cake to surprise her. My dad had messaged us and said must get a big cake! Haha luckily Eirene had told me that day that Crystal Jade's cakes were nice, and after 8.30pm got 40% discount. So actually we wanted to surprise my mum, but then we also wanted a real nice cake, so got dilemma. Then my sis and i realised (or just thought =/) that my mum wouldn't have been surprised because she's our mum, sure know one. Haha especially with previous years' experience. We chose to go home to tell her that we've got to wait till 8.30pm, but we'll get her a much nicer cake. She was quite puzzled about which bakery the cake was going to be from though. Lol anyway, my mum's birthday strawberry cheesecake was nice. Zai.

Today Mrs Toh finished going through her morning session quite fast. 1.5 hours out of the usual 2. Record time. I think she made this timing only once before at the first supplementary where the students present numbered in the few.

Mr Lee was having consultation with Shannon in the afternoon and then towards the end i started shooting questions about career again. Haha interruption! Then we discussed the sky and spoke about the ground and i ended up learning quite a lot from Mr Lee with regards to starting off after uni.

Later on i spoke to Eirene and focused on one part of the conversation until i forgot another part. Lol the goldfish-ness from her must be rubbing off on me.

Then don't know why but Zhi Hua was in school today. When i asked him why he said, "don't tell you." Wah lame ah!

A hello to you

Standing in the balcony in the evening is very nice. I like.
I also like pretzels.
And having more free time in recent days to do study during the day.

Having a positive mindset invariably leads to success. Whether you think you can or you cannot, either way you're right.
Sow a thought, reap an act.
Sow an act, reap a habit.
Sow a habit, reap a character.
Sow a character, reap a destiny.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

This week has indeed been smiley.

It is evening. Stand in your balcony.

Feel the wind on the skin of your face. It is gentle - a soft breeze, so easy not to notice, but it is there.

If you have the setting sun shining upon your face, then lucky you.
Close your eyes, face it, and feel the radiant warmth of its rays.
